Now that Conan O’Brien is done with NBC, he’s looking for a new network to call home. And although Fox has expressed their interest in welcoming Coco to their programming, there have been no serious negotiations yet.

Chairman and CEO of News Corp Rupert Murdoch said Fox is taking their time because of money. Many at the network are concerned the late night host won’t bring in enough revenue.

“Certainly if the program people can show us that we could do it, and be fairly confident of making a profit on it, we’d do it in a flash,” Murdoch said at a press conference. “But we’re giving it a lot of thought and a lot of examination.”

Murdoch and News Corp’s President and COO Chase Carey admitted that Fox’s people have been talking to O’Brien, “but… if you mean real negotiations, no,” said Carey.
