An Arizona couple whose bathtime photos of their young daughters caused Arizona Child Protection Services to take away their children is suing Walmart for turning over the photos to police.
Lisa and Anthony “A.J.” Demaree‘s three daughters were removed from their home last fall when a Walmart employee found the partially nude photos of the girls on a camera memory stick taken to the store for processing, reported Fox News.
The Demaree’s lawyer, Richard Treon, said the images of the girls were part of a group of 144 photographs taken during the family’s vacation in San Diego and that there was nothing sexual about them.
“This is a parent’s worst nightmare,” Treon said.
The couple is seeking undetermined monetary damages from both Walmart and the state and have requested a jury trial. (Fox News)
