Paris Hilton Sued By Disgruntled Shoe Manufacturer
The Paris Hilton Footwear line is hanging on by a thread.
Paris Hilton is at the center of fire once again for allegedly copying a design from a Seattle-based shoe company.
Gwyneth Shoes claims the heiress stole a patented heart-shaped pad that the company features on the insole of their shoes. They began using the look in 2007 (Hilton’s footwear has only been around since 2008).
The company is suing the socialite for trademark and patent infringement. What’s more, they demand that Paris return each and every pair of shoes. Not a good way to kick off 2010! (OK magazine)
