Everyone’s favorite loopy lady Paula Abdul chose her words carefully (for once!) in an interview with a radio show in Phoenix on Thursday morning.

“It’s just going to be a different show,” Abdul said when asked about being replaced by comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

But that wasn’t the last of Paula on Ellen. Abdul hosted VH1’s Divas Live show on Thursday night, and she used the venue to poke a little fun at her Idol replacement.

During VH1’s Divas Live on Thursday night, Abdul came dancing down the aisle to Pink’s “Get the Party Started,” dressed in her best Ellen look – topped off with a shaggy blonde wig.

“Why are you all staring at me? Can’t a girl try out a new job,” Abdul asked after flopping sideways into a chair on the stage.

“All kidding aside, nothing but love, Ellen and I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig,” Abdul continued. “And call me! Call me if you have any Simon problems, ‘cause, you know, I know him best.” (Us Weekly, Examiner.com)
