Two photographers filed a $1 million dollar suit against Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen on Tuesday, alleging that bodyguards for the New England Patriots quarterback and his supermodel wife shot at them during a post-wedding party in Costa Rica.
Although no bullets actually struck them, Yuri Cortez and Rolando Aviles, both Costa Rican nationals, said they suffered physical and mental harm during the attack in early April and that Brady and Bundchen were to blame for hiring improperly trained security guards.
According to the lawsuit, Cortez and Aviles discreetly photographed the party from a neighbor’s property and then were approached by bodyguards when they returned to their car who demanded they turn over the camera and memory cards. The two tried to drive away when a bodyguard fired, shattering the rear window of their SUV with a bullet that then hit the front windshield and ricocheted off it into the driver’s seat.
“The bullet narrowly missed striking the heads of Cortez and Aviles,” the lawsuit said. Representatives for both Brady and Bundchen declined to comment. (Fox News)
