Project Runway Contestants Dazzle at New York Fashion Week
The finalists from season 7 showed their final collections under the big tent.
If you were hoping to learn who made it down to the final three in the current season of Project Runway, you’re in for a disappointment. When the Lifetime reality hit held its fashion show at New York Fashion Week on February 12, they didn’t show the usual three or four collections. Spoiler alert! There were 10! Yes, 10 designers showed their collections at the Project Runway show. Crazy, right?
These finalists had a chance to show off their collections to Michael Kors, Nina Garcia, Heidi Klum, guest judge Faith Hill and a packed audience. While the judges have got the 10 narrowed down, the rest of us have to sit back, watch the TV show and make our own guesses as to who’s going to win. But we’re helping you narrow down your list with a sneak peek at what each designer created for the grand finale.
Anthony Williams’ bubbly personality spilled onto the runway with his collection of sparkly, chic evening wear that included sequin pants and a sexy silver cocktail dress.
Designer Amy Sarabi played peek-a-boo with this eyebrow-raising dress. The rest of her designs were pleated separates.
A Ray Bradbury novel was the inspiration for Ben Chmura’s collection. The futuristic designs featured tiny hemlines and bright colors.
