Sandra Bullock Makes Movie History
Sandra’s film ‘The Blind Side’ broke records for women in Hollywood.

Sandra Bullock’s latest film, The Blind Side, was a bit of a departure for the comic actress, but that didn’t stop her from breaking Hollywood records.
The film broke the $200 million mark over the weekend, and became the first film driven by a female superstar to bring in that much cash.
The only other female-led film to accomplish this feat was the little film that could, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, starring the unknown Nia Vardalos.
Sandra’s new record beat other superstars like Meryl Streep and Angelina Jolie, who have not yet been able to carry a film to $200 million domestically on their own.
Hopefully it won’t be long before other female-led films follow The Blind Side’s lead. (Variety)
