Daily Dish: Sarah Jessica Parker-Matthew Broderick Burglary Trial Begins
The “Sex and the City” superstar can finally rest easy.
At the end of July two Ohio police chiefs were arrested after being accused of breaking into the home of the woman who gave birth to Sarah Jessica Parker’s twins.
The men were allegedly trying to hock her personal belongings to a freelance photographer in order to make a quick buck, and now that scheme is coming back to hurt them.
This week marks the start of the criminal trial, and People.com is reporting that Martin’s Ferry Police Chief Barry P. Carpenter faces the majority of the charges including burglary, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property. If convicted he could go to prison for 21 years and be fined $45,000.
Bridgeport Police Chief Chad M. Dojack’s trial is set for January. (People)
