Sisters Who Lost Hair Due to Unusual Condition Go to School Bald
These brave girls are stepping out without their wigs for the first time.
Two young sisters who were forced to say goodbye to their lovely locks after catching the hair-loss condition alopecia have opted to go to school bald.
Faye Sanford, 9, began to lose her hair when she was only two and a half. Her older sister Emily, 11, sadly followed in her footsteps at the age of five. Scientists are still unsure as to what exactly causes the terrible disorder.
“They have got the confidence now to go out and to school without wigs whereas it has been a problem in the past,” said the girls’ mother Paula. (Daily Mail)
