Spring is just around the corner, but in most parts of the country we’re still feeling thoroughly chilled. Thankfully, fashion is coming to the rescue with a hot new trend to warm your soul – accessories in neon-brights! These fun pieces add a much-needed shot of resort-inspired color to winter’s dreary palette. (Look at how the bright yellow bag and brilliant orange shoes really make AnnaLynne McCord’s black dress stand out, above.) Bright accessories will also bring a fun pop to the neutral ensembles we expect to see all summer long. Invest in a few of these pieces now, and we guarantee you’ll wear them out.

I make decent money, but a lot of the clothing and accessories promoted on this site are not in mine and most people’s budget (unless you’re living off credit cards). Could I afford these things? Sure. Would I spend that kind of money on trendy items? Absolutely not.

On another note, I’m not too excited about many of the 80s trends coming back, especially the neon colors. When the 60s and 70s trends were in again, I was all over it. My mom would say in reference to my style choices, “been there, done that, don’t want to do it again.” Now that the 80s styles are back, I echo her sentiments. I do like the over-priced yellow pumps (w/the right dress) and the FC clutch, though.
