Top 10 Beauty Gadgets

The bathroom seems to be the final frontier in terms of technology – but not for long.  There’s a host of beauty gadgets to help you look and feel better. As with all things electronic, some are affordable and some are … less so. But there’s enough of a range out there that you can pick and choose what you need most. The only problem: you just might find yourself short an outlet or two!

Here are my top 10 beauty gadgets:

face products

FACE

Kick up your skin-care routine a notch by incorporating a cleansing device.

 1. I love my Clarisonic Skin Care Brush (1a., starting at $149, clarisonic.com) because it uses sonic energy to deep-clean pores and stimulate the skin. A more wallet-friendly device is the Neutrogena Wave Power Cleanser (1b., $15.99, drugstore.com), which uses vibration and textured pads to sweep away dirt and dullness.

 2.  Who can run to the dermatologist for a cortisone injection every time a monster zit emerges?  That’s where the Zeno comes in. This blemish buster uses targeted heat to kill the bacteria causing the pimple, significantly shortening the time it takes to heal. (Starting at $129, myzeno.com)

3. Bring the doctor’s office home with the Baby Quasar. Modeled after the professional red- and blue-light treatments that help eradicate acne and soften wrinkles, these high-tech therapies are definitely space age. (Starting at $349, skinstore.com)

4.  Don’t forget your teeth! Plaque and stains are no match for the Philips Sonicare FlexCare, which also features a built-in sanitizer for a squeaky-clean brush every time you brush. ($169.99, amazon.com)
