They Should Change His Name from Iggy Pop to Iggy Flop
Ray-Ban event brings out stars Justin Long, Kate Bosworth, Kelly Osbourne and more to see the rock legend perform.
The Iggy Pop and The Stooges performance at Music Hall of Williamsburg had celebrities flocking to Brooklyn Wednesday night (May 12) for the Ray-Ban re-launch of its signature Aviator style. Kate Bosworth, Justin Long, Kelly Osbourne (with fiancé Luke Worrall) and Chloe Sevigny were all in attendance.
We don’t know what Ray-Ban paid Iggy to be there—but they should definitely ask for their money back because the performance was too loud (even for a rock show… Gossip Betty is deaf today) and Iggy was a “hot mess.”
Backstage, Iggy, 63, was completely out of it, a fellow partygoer said, “I was so excited to meet him at first, but then he hugged me and I felt like I needed to sterilize myself because he’s so gross and slimy—and his skin was like distressed leather.” That’s what years of drug abuse will get you.
“Also, I couldn’t understand a word he was saying,” added the partygoer. He was totally incoherent and could barely walk.”
