In case you took a break over the weekend from following the never-ending Tiger Woods coverage, here’s what you’ve missed in the past few days.
Britain’s News of the World is claiming that Elin Nordegren has already decided to call it quits on her marriage and will officially file for a legal separation after the holidays.
“Elin will pretend it’s the usual family celebration for the children and then ditch the man. In the short-term they’ll act like any other loving couple. Elin won’t break it all up right away. But she does need some time alone to herself and a legal separation will happen very quickly,” said an inside source to the paper.
Elin, who has two small children with Tiger, reportedly told him “Don’t talk to me, speak to your therapist! I don’t want to see you!” as details of Tiger’s numerous extra-marital affairs came to light.
The British newspaper is also claiming that Mistress No. 1 Rachel Uchitel still believes that, despite being given a reported $2 million in hush money, Tiger will leave his wife for her.
“Tiger and I are still together no matter what. He said we have to wait a couple of weeks before we can meet up again. But I AM his number one girl,” she reportedly told a close friend.
Lastly, did child protective services visit the Woods’ family home after Tiger’s car-crash? That’s the news from RadarOnline.com and they even received a confirmation from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to prove it. Although the department kept mum on the details, it is supposedly protocol for the Florida Department of Children Services to investigate after a suspected, in-home domestic violence incident. If this is true, it certainly gives credibility to the rumors that Tiger’s injuries from that night weren’t only from the car accident. (News of the World, RadarOnline)
