Betty on the News: 20-Something Gets a TV Deal Thanks to His Twitter Account ‘S**t My Dad Says’
Social networking can seriously pay off!
Justin Halpern has just landed about the sweetest job ever as a result of his hilarious Twitter account ‘S**t My Dad Says.’
The 28-year-old, who began to Tweet random things his father rattled off in August, started out with over 100,000 followers and now has over 700,000.
Because of his massive following CBS is teaming up with Justin to produce a show alongside Will & Grace masterminds David Kohan and Max Mutchnick. Halpern will help pen the material with a second writer, Patrick Schumacker.
Naturally, the title of the show will be revised if it ever actually hits the air. (TechCrunch)
