Philip and Nancy GarridoAfter weeks of wondering just what would become of Jaycee Lee Dugard’s kidnappers, Philip and Nancy Garrido, we finally have a clue.

Early Monday morning the couple shuffled into the El Dorado County Superior Court for a 10-minute hearing looking somber and disheveled. Judge Douglas Phimister promptly set Philip’s bail at $30 million, citing the grave nature of the charges and fact that the 58-year-old was on parole at the time of the abduction. Nancy Garrido will continue to be held without bail, which her attorney had no problem with.

During the hearing Philip’s representative requested a psychiatric evaluation for her client, making it acceptable for Nancy’s lawyer to request one as well.

The two are expected back in court on October 29, and will be kept in the El Dorado County jail until then. (Yahoo! News)

  1. It’s really just a court order at this point. A sentence is a judgment formally pronouncing the punishment to be inflicted on one convicted of a crime. Now go ahead and hate on me for pointing this out. ; )
