Betty on the News: Octomom’s Fertility Doctor Expelled
The physician who treated Nadya Suleman gets kicked out of organization.
Dr. Michael Kamrava, who famously implanted Nadya Suleman with six embryos, was ejected from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in September, group rep Sean Tipton disclosed Monday.
Tipton says the Beverly Hills physician had violated the organization’s standards multiple times, and although he refused to provide details on the matter he did state that Kamrava was not kicked out because of his work with any single patient.
After learning of the expulsion Octomom™ told RadarOnline.com that she considered Kamrava to be an excellent doctor who had always warned her of the risks of multiple births.
“I understand however that he wasn’t kicked out just because of me and because other cases were involved so I don’t feel wholly responsible,” Nadya said.
We’re sure the mother of 14 will be pleased to hear that her doc will still be allowed to practice medicine, as Tipton claims that the non-profit group cannot keep him from doing so. (New York Daily News)
