Betty on the News: Settlement Reached in DJ AM Plane Crash Suit
The case is officially closed.
An agreement has been reached for the family of the co-pilot who passed away during the South Carolina plane crash that left Travis Barker and the late DJ AM with second and third degree burns.
The window of James Bland will receive $500,000 from Inter Travel & Services Inc., Global Exec. Aviation, and Pem Group, Inc. (all of which operated and owned the aircraft). The deceased’s 17-year-old daughter will also have access to the money.
According to TMZ court documents show Bland’s widow is to get $406,250 and her daughter will collect $25,000 per year for three years. (TMZ)
