Are you sick of black nail polish yet? Personally, I love it for the first day or two but as soon as it start to get dull and chipped I’m over it – and it’s SO hard and messy to get it off. Why not lighten up a bit and give grey a try? (Gwyneth Paltrow has been seen sporting it.) One to try: Concrete Jungle by Rescue Beauty Lounge. $18, rescuebeauty.com
Bold color for nails and eyes
Get a head start on Spring by trading your muted or neutral shades for something a little more bold. The Spring runways were all about bright pops of color on the eyes and hands. Nothing brightens a gray winter day like a shot of color.
Now this is one trend we’d like to see stick around. Sure it may take a professional stylist upwards of an hour to give you that perfectly mussed look, but we say it’s as easy as not washing your hair for a day or two, using Klorane Dry Shampoo to add texture (Heidi Klum and Kirstin Dunst do) and pinning it back one piece at a time before gathering it all together in an imperfect bun. The beauty of this trend is, you can’t do it wrong!
