Daily Dish: Twilight Star Stopped from Taking Pictures on Set
Actor Michael Sheen couldn’t document his time on the set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon
The set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon was so tight and highly secured that they wouldn’t even allow cast members to take pictures of themselves in fear that the photos might leak to the press.
Michael Sheen, who recently starred in Frost/Nixon, wanted to take pictures of the New Moon set to show his 10-year-old daughter, Lily, a huge fan of the franchise, but security personnel stopped him before a flash could go off.
Everyone working on the film wanted to keep whatever it was that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and the rest of the cast was doing under wraps so as not to spoil anything for the release of the new movie in November.
“I remember someone whose job was containment and I thought: ‘What does that actually mean? Does that mean stopping people from getting on the set?” said Michael. “And it wasn’t, it was to stop people on the set taking pictures and sending them out.”
If they went to such great lengths to keep the details of the movie a secret, it better be the most surprising and fantastical movie of the year! (IMDB)
