The reviews are coming in… And they’re good!
We only had to wait 23 years for the sequel to the movie Wall Street, this one called Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. But according to the first reviews from the Cannes Film Festival, this Oliver Stone film was well worth the wait.
It sounds like Wall Street 2 is the movie everyone is talking about this year at Cannes. And the reviews are starting to come in; mostly quite fabulous so far! We love that, though the first movie was filmed in 1987, Michael Douglas has returned for his role as Gordon Gekko, most known for his line, “Greed is good.”
One of Douglas’s lines in the new movie? “The greed has not stopped… It became legal.” The sequel also stars Shia LeBeouf and Carrie Mulligan (who also happen to be dating!). The premise surrounds Gekko getting out of jail, connecting with his daughter (Mulligan), and continuing with his scheming.
