“You have the power to change the world with the stroke of a pen,” she says breathlessly. “We’ll stop right there.”
My head is spinning.
Peggy instructs me to write down the sentences: “It’s safe to see, I’m free to be me. I know what to do and how to do it. I’m there. Wa-hoo!”
She asks me if I have any questions; of course, I do.
“Am I doing the right thing about ending my marriage?” She pauses and then says, “The guides are saying that it’s a turn of destiny, you have to cut the cord. You have learned what you were supposed to learn from this. Focus on yourself and letting go of sadness, grief and guilt. Don’t blame yourself and continue to open your doors to wisdom.”
“Am I in the right job?” I ask.
“Absolutely,” she says, repeating, “You have the power to change the world with the stroke of a pen.” (I’m the editor-in-chief of a publishing company and I write books, magazine articles, and this blog on the side for adults.)
“You are a healer. Your work is to use words and photos and images to wake people up. Your work and your words will heal people because the healing energy is moving through you to them. Especially teens. You are going to have a huge impact.”
“Last question,” I say. “Will I ever get married again?”
“Definitely. Just continue to evolve and let go of your demons. Your energy is shifting and you will be in a transition process of redefining yourself for a couple of years. It’s going to be very organic. He will find you.”
Oh good, one less thing I have to worry about. What a relief!
Now I can focus on the task of redefining myself. Stay tuned.
