Amy Adams Is Our Hero!
The new mama tells the post-baby weight haters to take a hike.
While the vast majority of Hollywood mothers feel the need to tone back up two seconds after giving birth, a couple of them actually have a realistic attitude when it comes to the post-baby weight challenge.
Amy Adams, who delivered her first child in May, isn’t pressuring herself to be the next Gisele Bundchen.
“Being pregnant finally helped me understand what my true relationship was with my body–meaning that it wasn’t put on this earth to look good in a swimsuit,” The Fighter star recently told Parade magazine.
“I was like, ‘Look, I can carry a baby! I’m gaining weight right, everything’s going well,'” she added. “And I’ve had that relationship ever since.”
The two-time Oscar nominee hits the gym when she can and keeps an eye on what she eats, but strongly feels that shedding those extra pounds is not her “number-one priority.”
How refreshing is that? We love this gal!
