I’m somewhat obsessed with cleansing wipes. There are too many nights when I’ve exhaustedly stumbled into the bathroom at the end of the day to rip out my contacts and I’m just too pooped to wash my face. So I grab a cleansing wipe, swipe it on face and collapse. Some of the wipes I’ve used don’t take off all the makeup off, or some of them make my face itch, so I have to wash my face again. Finding a cleansing wipe that works and doesn’t give you extra work has become a mission of mine.

Ole Henriksen’s Truth to Go Wipes ($15, sephora.com and at Sephora stores nationwide) really does the job. I’ve used them in the morning–the light citrus vanilla scent perks me up and at the end of the day to get rid of makeup and grime. I’ve never had that itchy feeling, my skin’s never felt tight, just clean and soft.

Ole Henriksen’s Truth to Go Wipes are gentle to your skin because they don’t contain irritants like parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates (I have no idea what they are), petrochemicals (urgh), GMOs or Triclosan. It does contain Vitamin C, micro algae, antioxidant green tea and CoQ10. These ingredients brighten the skin and are anti-aging fighters.

Since it’s been so hot and sticky lately, I’ve been tossing the pack in my bag. One swipe and I’m clean and feel refreshed. The wipes have a snap-close top, so it can never, ever open up and dry out.

It’s not only a good skin care item, it’s a perfect summer pick-me-up.
