We had a blast at last night’s shows! We said hi to Hilary Swank and chatted with Ramona Singer at Pamella Roland, mentally packed for our beach vacays at Rosa Cha and swooned over gorgeous dresses at Luca Luca – Italian men make us weak in the knees! We couldn’t help but smile at Bebe‘s fun collection. Be sure to head to our Facebook page to check out the photos of the celebs and the clothes we couldn’t fit here!
What Kathryn said about Pamella Roland:
As soon as I arrived at the Whitney Museum for the Pamella Roland presentation and spotted Hilary Swank near the door, I began counting my lucky stars. The presentation was the place to be last night, with celebs and admirers alike wandering through the crowded party gazing at gorgeous gowns. Hoda Kotb, Ramona Singer, Lori Loughlin, Denise Richards and Perrey Reeves were among the other celebs who came out to support Pamella Roland.
I was lucky enough to snag a few minutes with the designer herself, (side note: she may be the nicest person I’ve ever interviewed. Kindness counts!). Roland explained that the collection was inspired by her recent trip to Greece. The collection was full of heavenly blue and slinky silver gowns, but when I asked Roland herself to pick a favorite, there was one gown she singled out. “What’s really interesting is the ‘evil eye dress,’ because everywhere you go [in Greece] there’s something about the evil eye,” Roland said, showing me her evil eye bracelet. (For those who don’t know, the evil eye is an eye-like design often worn in Mediterranean countries to protect against evil and bad luck.) “If you see the dress, those are all evil eyes,” Roland added, pointing to an exquisite blue gown printed with a layered evil eye pattern. See it for yourself above!
