Jessica Simpson addresses body issues
Jessica Simpson wants fans to know that she is doing just fine on her own, in fact she’s better than fine, she is entirely “happy and comfortable” at this point in her life.
The songstress recently sat down with Glamour to address her current state of mind, multimillion-dollar fashion line, upcoming reality series, and weight.
After dealing with the criticism surrounding her extra pounds, Jessica made it a point to design clothing for buxom babes such as herself.
“Whenever we have models come in, we use normal, everyday women. The bathing suit models have to really have boobs, because if you book a woman who doesn’t, the sizing will be off throughout the entire line,” she told the publication. “I’m excited about the intimates we make. They’re so comfortable and cute, and we make them for every size: We go up to 44DD. I’m big-busted…. I can’t always wear the cutest bras, and it makes me so mad. We make girls with bigger busts feel sexy under their clothes.”
She was quick to add, “I absolutely, 100 percent do not agree with how the media has made everyone [body] obsessed. And they do have the power to do it. Celebrities aren’t perfect. It’s amazing to me how much thought is put into a woman’s figure on tabloid covers.” (glamour.com)
