4. Amy Adams: Blonde vs. Red
Amy Adam’s blonde to red transformation may not be as dramatic as Emma Stone’s (she’s more of a strawberry blonde than a blonde-blonde), but she experienced the same strange phenomenon. Said Amy in 2008, “I’ve had red hair for the past four years. Before that I never thought of being anything but blonde. There was a definite shift in my life when I decided to go red. When you’re blonde, people associate it all with being slirty. With red hair, suddenly you’re quirky.” And my, how the acting gigs rolled in!
5. Ashley Tisdale: Brunette vs. Blonde
The Disney Channel is responsible for Ashley Tisdale keeping her naturally brunette locks blonde for so many years: She first dyed it for her role on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and kept it blonde for the duration of the High School Musical franchise. Since then, she’s gone back and forth between brown and blonde pretty frequently.
6. Jennifer Lawrence: Blonde vs. Brunette
Jennifer Lawrence’s transformation from blonde starlet to brunette huntress Katniss Everdeen for The Hunger Games was much talked about in the months leading up to the movie’s release. While the color change was masterfully done (and will no doubt continue to be so as the trilogy continues), I can’t help but think that in real life, blonde suits her personality better. What do you think, Bettys?
