Willow Smith, Warriorette
No story on little Hollywood fashionistas would be complete these days without Willow Smith, the pop sensation who’s the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Not only is Willow a fierce dresser, she’s got a video, Whip My Hair, that would be pretty amazing even if she wasn’t turning just ten later this week. As for the group of kids who strut with her in the video, Willow told MTV she almost named them the Willowettes, but then decided on Warriorettes. “It takes a warrior to stand up for themselves and not let anyone tell them that what they’re wearing or what they’re saying or what they’re doing is wrong…It takes a warrior to do that, but it still takes sensitivity.”

Heather Locklear’s Model Daughter
Ava Sambora, daughter of Heather Locklear and rocker Richie Sambora, showed off her dad’s designs at Fashion Week in L.A. and earlier this month. Although she looks pretty confident strutting the runway, Ava, 13, said she’s hasn’t gotten over her shyness. “I’m still nervous,” she told People magazine. “I just know how to hide it.” Locklear makes sure to sit in the first row of the shows her daughter is in, snapping picture like any mom at a school play. As for Sambora, he told People, “My daughter’s beautiful, she’s gregarious, she’s funny, she’s smart. I’m beyond proud.” (ivillage)
