Cradle-Robbin’ and Losing Their Virginity: What We Learned About Men in December

Having sex with younger women and memories of when they first lost their v-card – that’s what’s on the minds of men this December. Maybe it’s the colder weather, or the romantic air of the holidays, but mags such as Men’s Health, Details, Esquire and more are all about what happens between the sheets this month.

To see what else we found out about guys from their favorite magazines, read on…

1. They love to rob the cradle… at every age.
According to a statistic in Men’s Health’s Sex Bulletin, researchers published a study in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior, which found that men at any age between 20-50 prefer a younger woman, whereas women typically favored men their age or older. This debunks the growing ‘cougar myth,’ but enforces the idea that creepy older men will always be hitting on you – even if you’re their daughter’s age.

2. They wish they had been chubby babies.
True, it’s a weird thing to wish, but not when you consider the following study highlighted in this month’s issue of Esquire: turns out male babies with a few extra pounds lose their virginity before other people their age. Why? Well, we’re not about to ask the anthropologists at Northwestern University for their “scientific-y” explanation. We’ll just take their word for it.

Speaking of virginity…

These studies come out every few years and always seem to miss a simple yet glaring point. Just because our bodies get older does not mean our minds and eyes stop being attracted to the kinds of women we are attracted to at any given age. Just because a man is 40 50 60 or 100 does not mean he we no long be attracted to the kind of women he was as a younger man.

Your flesh may get old but not what we find attractive. Women are no different, it’s why the older men get the richer or more powerful they must be to continue to attract women, while women worry about getting older and loosing their looks as they have a harder time competing just as men do.

It’s a TV myth that old guys or old gals should find other old people attractive. Our tastes may evolve but we still like the symmetry, colors, shapes and features that we always did.

I for one am still attracted to women of a certain age and physical attributes as I was when I was 17. Only thing is at that time they were 20 years my senior and now they are younger than me, but the age range of about 28 to 38 is still the age I’m most attracted to and always will be.

Getting old sucks and for the average male fighting weight gain, thinning hair and over the peak earnings ability it only gets worse from here for most guys. Good thing I’m married to a wonderful beautiful women who is also my best friend.
