Get your groove on with these two funny, cute and really clever Rosh Hashanah dance videos. Today is Jewish New Year, otherwise known as Rosh Hashanah. This year marks the Jewish Year 5772. The festival started at sunset Wednesday and ends sunset Friday. The period of time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is known as the High Holy Days. It’s a time of reflection, looking over the past year, making amends with yourself and your peers, and looking forward to a fresh new year.

Traditionally, these days are considered solemn, but two groups, JewishTreats, a division of the National Jewish Outreach Organization, and Aish.com, a part of Aish International ,created two very clever dance videos.

JewishTreats tune Soul Bigger takes on Kanye West’s Gold Digger and gives a waaay humorous twist.

Aish.com’s Rosh Hashanah Rock Anthem parodies LMAFO’s Party Rock Anthem. Who knew rabbinical students could breakdance?

Happy New Year!
