Did Dane Cook Really Gay Bash?
An American Idol reject accuses the comedian of some seriously brash berating.
Ian Bernardo, an early castoff from Amercian Idol’s season seven, is accusing Dane Cook of going off on an anti-gay outburst against him.
Last month, Cook performed a satirical song on Idol called Simon Said. During which, Bernardo grabbed the microphone and exclaimed, “Who cares? It’s all about Ian Benardo tonight!” the interrupting reject said on national television. I’m going to replace you, Simon Cowell! No one has a thing to say about you, just me…and I want to say I’m replacing you, Simon Cowell, because I’m more entertaining than you!”
After the Kanye moment cut to commercial break Cook got nasty, according to the American Idol wannabe.
“Dane yelled at me ‘I can’t believe you let this f***ing f*ggot got on stage with me,” Benardo told RadarOnline. He also claimed Cook followed him and continued to scream gay slurs at him as security escorted him from the building.
Cook’s flack Barry Katz has disputed Bernardo’s version of the events.
Bernardo added, “I want Ellen (DeGeneres) to apologize to me for not doing anything or saying anything to Dane while he was screaming at me. I have always looked up to Ellen and I am offended that she sat by and did nothing.” (RadarOnline)
