Disney’s Top Ten Holiday Gifts
Looking at Disney’s fun offerings, you’ll wish you were a kid again.
The weather may be freakishly warm, but holiday elves have been ignoring the weather and have created some pretty nifty gifts. Disney released their top ten items to a star-studded crowd. In attendance were Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl), Lala Anthony (a zillion VH-1 shows), Alex McCord (RHONY) and Daya Vaidy (Unforgettable) and their families at the Times Square Disney Store in New York.
The real stars were the toys and goodies. For adults who’ve wandered in the store for hours and enjoy the store’s special fragrance, you can now pick it up for home or a hostess gift. Disney uses the Imagination Winter scent in all of their shops! Pick either the scented candle ($19.50) or the room spray ($16.50). For personal use, give or keep the Pixie Dust fragrance collection ($10.50 – $24.50), inspired by Tinkerbell. It’s a mix of citrus sorbet, candied fruits and summer rain.
For the kid in all of us, there are Muppet plush toys ($16.50). You’re never to old to cuddle with Miss Piggy, Kermit, Animal, Beaker, Fozzie, Gonzo, or Walter. Okay, toy cars are for kids, right? The Cars 2 remote control car collection ($29.50) has three different models and will keep little ones (or you) entertained for hours.
One of the coolest gifts is the Disney Animators Collection dolls ($24.50). They’re re-imagining of popular Disney princesses as children. They were designed by Disney animators, Glen Keane and Mark Henn.
All of the goodies are available at Disney stores nationwide and online. In fact, they’re online now. You might want to wander over there and start working on your list, or plan what you want to get for yuourself.
