Dr. Fuhrman’s Blueberry/Flax Smoothie

2 cups (296 g) fresh or frozen blueberries
3/4 cup (188 mL) soy milk
1 TBSP flax seeds
3 medjool dates or 6 deglet noor dates

Blend until smooth in blender or Vita mix.

1 cup (148 g) fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup (144 g) fresh or frozen strawberries
6-12 lettuce leave
1 banana
1/2 cup (125 mL) soy milk

Blend banana and soy milk to make topping. Arrange berries and lettuce leaves in a bowl. Pour topping over fruit and serve.

    I don’t know why, but I can’t eat plain blueberries. I love them in pancakes though! I guess that totally defeats the blueberries’ purpose. LOL!
