When Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel have six weeks to get their booties into top shape, they turn to celebrity fitness trainer Ramona Braganza. With over 20 years of experience, she’s toned some of the hottest bodies in Hollywood through her signature 321 Training Method and 321 Nutrition Plan. Ramona’s top three fitness tips

1. Set a goal that means a lot to you
To help her clients get a kickstart on their workouts, Ramona has them aim for a goal that’s significant to them. “It’s not just any old goal, but one that challenges you physically, mentally, or even spiritually,” she says. Approaching workouts in this way will boost your motivation and your sense of accomplishment. “I needed a kickstart last year and booked myself on a charity climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro,” Ramona says. “It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that left me feeling empowered and fit.”

2. Don’t settle for the same old routine
“When training my clients I always mix up the workouts,” Ramona says. “Not only do I continuously change the types of exercises, but I also add various equipment into the mix so the workouts don’t get boring.” To do this yourself, Ramona suggests switching up the weight, sets, reps, or tempo of the routine you normally do. If you’d rather follow along with a program, Ramona’s 321 Training Method is a good option. “It combines cardio, strength and core exercises in one workout,” she says.

3. Take it outside
Ramona has her clients do their cardio workout outdoors at least once a week. She suggests enjoying the fresh air by jogging, hiking, biking, or even snowshoeing. If you can’t get outdoors, try to find someplace that’s outside of the gym. “Recently, while training Amanda Seyfried on Red Riding Hood, I took her to the stairs, completing eight flights of 200 steps in half an hour for a 250 calorie burn!”
