Set photos of James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain in 'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby' have surfaced. Looks neat-o!

And presumably, Connor tries to run after her, only to be struck by an oncoming cab. But Jessica and James can still have a laugh together in between takes!:

Even more interesting is this: The film isn’t just one movie—it’s a double feature project consisting of two parts: The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Hers. We can probably extrapolate that each film will tell the same story from a different point of view—that is, James’ and Jessica’s—and that by viewing both films, we’ll be able to put together the bigger picture. It’s an ambitious project for its writer-director, Ned Benson, who has previously only made short films. I don’t know about you, Bettys, but I think it sounds fascinating. The double feature is due for release in 2013.
