4. Jill St. John – Tiffany Case, Diamonds Are Forever

Jill St. John

Fun fact: Jill St. John was the first American Bond girl. Wisecracking, though somewhat ditzy, Tiffany Case (named for the accidental place of her birth, Tiffany & Co.—as Bond put it, it’s a good thing she wasn’t born at Van Cleef & Arpels) finds herself unwittingly used against Bond by the terrorist organization SPECTRE. In the end, though, she helps him defeat SPECTRE by following the path of smuggled diamonds. Diamonds really ARE forever!

5. Jane Seymour – Solitaire, Live and Let Die

Jane Seymour

Being a psychic has its downsides; in the case of Live and Let Die’s Solitaire, it’s that she must remain a virgin in order for her ability to keep working. Naturally, this doesn’t stop Bond from lusting after her anyway, though as far as we know, he doesn’t actually succeed in seducing her. At 22 at the time of filming, Jane Seymour is the second youngest actress ever to play a Bond girl (Alison Doody, who played Jenny Flex in A View to Kill is the youngest; she was 19).

6. Barbara Bach – Anya Amasova, The Spy Who Loved Me

Barbara Bach

Who knew that the future Mrs. Ringo Starr would be a Bond girl? Before Barbara Bach married Ringo in 1981, she broke hearts (and a few skulls, as well) as KGB agent Anya Amasova in The Spy Who Loved Me. Ah, forbidden love!
