Fun. + Designer Rachel Antonoff Are Fighting LGBTQ Discrimination Together
They’ve created nonprofit The Ally Coalition. Will you be joining Rachel Antonoff and Fun.?
The band Fun. ( “We Are Young” and “Some Nights”) have partnered with designer Rachel Antonoff to create The Ally Coalition (TAC). A non-profit organization dedicated to raising both awareness and funds in support of LGBTQ equality. One of the reasons why fashion and music came together to fight this cause is that Fun’s guitarist Jack Antonoff is designer Rachel Antonoff’s brother.
TAC believes that all allies have a responsibility to speak out against LGBTQ discrimination. They can positively influence the fight against it through education, awareness and advocacy. TAC provides all allies with an outlet to do so by encouraging them to upload videos of themselves sharing their views and speaking out on TAC’s official site.
Check out what Fun. guitarist Jack and his sister Rachel Antonoff have to say!
TAC’s mission is to have a strong presence in the music, fashion and entertainment communities. They’re kicking it all off with Fun. on their European REVERB Campus Consciousness Tour, starting April 11, 2013. No US dates….yet Bettys.
