Gorgeous Dogs You Don’t Have to Walk: Puppy Scarf Love from Lisa Bliss
Dog lovers show your love for doxies, pugs and terriers with a chic Lisa Bliss scarf.
Us dog lovers are (pardon the pun) a strange breed. We’re nonchalant about being covered in dog hair, speak baby talk to other people’s dogs and have been known to have dog-themed décor.
Some dogcentric stuff out there is kind of twee; it’s perfect if you’re 11 or 90. But finding chic accessories for the rest of us is another story. When I opened an email and saw the fab 100 percent Habotai silk scarves by Norwich University College of the Arts graduate Lisa Bliss, I swooned. Lisa specialized in print making in college. Her scarves are made from her original artwork.
Over in the UK, Lisa got a lot of press over her wallpaper collection and now she’s moving into fashion. Hooray! Her animals have sweet, wise faces and the scarves look oh-so-touchable.
The scarves are from £90 ($144.33) and can be bought here.
When you can, wander through Growler. They carry Lisa’s scarves, limited edition art and prints, dog tees (for people) and unique gifts. They are also support various Lucher (English breed of dog) rescue organizations and other dog charities.
