This is actually a pretty neat idea for someone who loves to garden, especially if they live in a city and don’t have a whole lot of actual gardening space available. However, odds are you could find an equivalent that’s just as cool and thoughtful for significantly less (this one runs $250). Hilariously, the company that makes it is careful to note what’s NOT included with it:
“Not included: Soil & Plants.”
“New York based designer Jennifer Creel makes custom jewelry of all kinds. I love this necklace with my kids’ names on it. A great gift for a mom.”
This is true—it WOULD be a great give for a mom. But does Gwynnie’s version look kind of like the cheap-o name necklaces you can get at Claire’s Accessories to anyone else? There’s no knowing how much this necklace set Gwynnie back—Jennifer Creel makes all of her pieces to order.
Okay, to be fair, Gwynnie hasn’t actually put her newly-designed yoga top on her wish list, but she does oh-so-casually give it a plug at the end of her introductory message:
“Also, I’ve always wanted a one shouldered exercise top and could never find one so we’ve collaborated with BEYOND YOGA (who make really chic, comfortable, perfect exercise gear) to make my dream top!”
Guess how much Gwynnie’s “dream top” costs? $75. This is only slightly more reasonable than the $90 plain white t-shirt. If you’re feeling REALLY dedicated, you can shell out an addition $99 for the matching yoga pants.
Oh, Gwynnie. Never change.
Tell us: What’s on your holiday wish list this year?
