Vote! Is Simon van Kempen Mean Betty’s Idiot of the Week?
Who will it be, kittens? Simon from the Real Housewives of New York City, or foot-in-mouth sufferer, LeAnn Rimes?
Another week, another bevy of moronic celebrity moves. Who shall win the title of Idiot of the Week this time, kittens?
Option 1: Simon van “I Want a Song, Too!” Kempen
Mean Betty can only take so much torture, dear pets. First, she had to be exposed to the bull that is Bethenny Frankel’s self-help book, A Place of Yes, and then listen to the excruciating screeching of Danielle Staub AND Kim Zolciak in their “songs,” and now this?
The ambiguously gay hubby, Simon, on Real Housewives of New York City has now released his own single, titled “I Am Real.” Kittens, when Mean Betty says it’s terrible, she’s putting it lightly. The song — or rather, the odd mixture of autotunes and off-pitch lyrics — is supposed to be a dance track that Simon believes “is cheeky and catchy and captures my four years on reality TV.”
Is Mean Betty the only one who wishes he didn’t try to capture those awful four years in song? The fact that the New York City series is still running is punishment enough.
Listen, my pets, only if you dare.
Next up: LeAnn Rimes…
