Joran van der Sloot Admits to Murdering Peruvian Girl
Now that he has confessed, the evidence mounts that he was also responsible for the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005.
He did it. Joran van der Sloot, 22, has confessed to Peruvian authorities that he brutally murdered Stephany Flores, 21, in his hotel room in Peru.
The Dutchman had met Flores while gambling in a casino in Lima, and there is camera footage of the two headed towards his room on May 30, only for van der Sloot to leave alone about four hours later.
He told authorities he snapped Flores’ neck after she used his laptop without asking – presumably Googling his name and discovering his connection to the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005.
“I did not want to do it. The girl intruded into my private life,” he reportedly confessed. “She had no right. She was scared, we argued, she tried to escape and I grabbed her by the neck and hit her.”
So, he killed poor Flores. And there’s not a doubt in our minds that he killed Natalee Holloway, too.
The evidence against him is huge – on two separate occasions in the past, van der Sloot confessed to reporters of killing Holloway, but since the confessions weren’t on record or official, they didn’t count. Plus, the same day he was arrested for Flores’ murder, federal prosecutors in Alabama charged him with extorting the Holloway family for $250,000 in exchange for information about where Natalee’s body is and how she died.
As of now, he is still being considered the prime suspect in the Holloway case, but they should just lock him up already and throw away the key, because he did it. He did it. How can anyone say he didn’t after what just happened with Flores?
And the scariest part? Van der Sloot only faces 35 years in prison for killing Flores. And since he confessed, even that sentence can be reduced. That is an awfully short term for a murderer. And who knows how many other victims there’s been between Holloway and Flores that we don’t know about yet?
Tell us: Do you think van der Sloot is guilty of killing Natalee Holloway, too?
