Kiehl’s LifeRide ends in DC on July 21. Tons of motorcycles will converge on the capitol!
For the past three years Kiehl’s has organized a national motorcycle ride to bring awareness about HIV/AIDS and its devestating consequences. This year, the LifeRide for amfAR kicks off in Miami on July 13, 2012. The riders will be led by Chris Salgardo, President, Kiehl’s USA and Kevin Robert Frost, CEO of amfAR. Within the pack you’ll find celebrity moto riders like John Corbett, Jesse Metcalfe, Tricia Helfer, Katee Sackhoff, Tyson Beckford, Teddy Sears, Christopher Redman, Marguerite Moreau and Grant Reynolds; photographer Timothy White, custom motorcycle builder Paul Cox, and artist Conrad Leach among others.
The Kiehl’s LifeRide for amfAR ends in Washington DC on July 21. This is right before the start of the International AIDS Conference, which will occur on July 22 through the 27. What’s really significant about the conference is that it’s the very first time it will happen on U.S. soil.
Now the ride has 8 stops and each stop along the 1800 miles will have a celebratory event! Tied into this event, which is expected to raise $115,000 from events, social media and the sale of a very special Kiehl’s kit. The Kiehl’s Limited Edition Active Lifestyle Essentials kit ($74,kiehls.com and at Kiehls’ stores nationwide) will be available starting on July 13th and hang around until they run out. The kit contains an assortment of Kiehl’s skin care products and the Eucalyptus Lip Relief is a limited product, available only in this kit! 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit amfAR.
