Kate Upton’s Travel Essentials… Revealed!
Wondering what model Kate Upton absolutely can’t live without when she travels? We’ve got the answers right here!
What does your travel bag look like, Bettys? If you’re anything like us, it doesn’t look at all like Kate Upton’s. But that’s not stopping our curiosity about what the model carries with her when she’s on the road—or in the air, as the case may be! Kate recently dished to Vogue about the travel items she absolutely can’t live without. Check out a few of her picks here!
The major splurge in Kate’s beauty bag is a jar of Créme de la Mer The Eye Concentrate ($165, cremedelamer.com); given the magical qualities of Crème de la Mer’s products, though, we can’t really begrudge her too much for it. Besides, constant travel has a tendency to wreak skincare havoc on the best of us, so a beauty tool that helps dissolve the appearance of dark circles and grants a healthier, more luminous look comes in handy on the road.
She also swears by Cetaphil moisturizing cream ($7.99, drugstore.com), though, so it’s good to know that at least one of her beauty must-haves is also super affordable.
A gal’s got to work out even when she lives the jetsetting life, so Kate always comes prepared. She travels with some tunes, of course—lately, she’s been jamming to Ne-Yo’s R.E.D ($12, itunes.apple.com) and Ellie Goulding’s Halcyon ($15, itunes.apple.com)—and a pair of Nike TR Free 2 Shield sneakers ($100, macys.com).
For entertainment, Kate brings along her Nintendo 3DS ($162.95, amazon.com) and Mario Kart 7 ($39, amazon.com), as well as The Hunger Games trilogy ($29.50, amazon.com). I like to think of her racing against Mario, Luigi, and the gang while clad in her nighttime staples—this gorgeous, Ralph Lauren Black Label strapless color-blocked dress ($1,098, ralphlauren.com), for example.
What can I say? I get a kick out of the contrast between the extreme highbrow and the extreme lowbrow.
The jaw-dropper, though? It’s not the dress. It’s not the Crème de la Mer, either. In fact, it’s probably not at all what you might expect. Give up? Here you go:
It’s her tote bag of choice. One of Kate’s style essentials is a Céline Cabas tote that costs a mind-boggling $3,100 and can’t be purchased online. I don’t know about you, Bettys, but my tote bags usually take such a beating that I don’t spend more on them than I absolutely have to. But hey, to each her own.
Head on over to Vogue for more of Kate’s travel essentials, including her beach must-haves and her fave smartphone pick.
