Katherine Heigl Left L.A.!
Katherine Heigl and hubby, Josh Kelley, left Hollywood to live in the mountains of Utah.
In the latest issue of Us Weekly, Josh Kelley reveals that he and his wife, Katherine Heigl, and their adopted daughter, Naleigh, 1, moved out of L.A. to live in… Utah.
Apparently, they’ve had it with the Hollywood scene.
“It was a dream of Katie’s for years,” Kelley tells the magazine. “We got married [in Utah] and I just fell in love with it. It’s amazing and one of my favorite places in the world. What we’ll probably do is put our time between Nashville and Utah. When we were in L.A., we were never in the scene. We don’t really leave the house. I stay in my studio and write music all the time.”
In fact, Kelley has just written his first country song, “Georgia Clay,” which plays on those Nashville roots. But, won’t this move affect Heigl’s career?
Apparently not, as Heigl is working on a movie as we speak, a comedy called One For the Money about an unemployed lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter. Sounds like a mashup of Killers and The Bounty Hunter to us.
So far, Kelley says the only thing he misses about L.A. are the golf courses, but we have a feeling he’s going to start missing his wife as well when she’s always shuttling back and forth to Hollywood for meetings and shoots. There’s a reason movie stars live in Hollywood — that’s where all the action happens! And now, it sounds like Heigl will be missing out. (Us Weekly)
