Who doesn’t love the smoky eye look? It’s fabulous for day or night, and really amps up your flirting power. We love how Amanda Seyfried’s eye makeup looks. The thing is, it can take up to 20 minutes per eyeball to get it right. You can use three or four eye shadows, two eye liners – in the end you’re a sweaty shaking mess.

  1. I always end up looking like a raccoon – or poking myself in the eye – or both – okay usually both – but I’m game – I will give this a shot – thanks!! –

  2. I like the smokey I look but I don’t use it much and when I do I feel like it brings out my under eye darkness. But I might try this look out! Does anyone have a good idea for covering under eye darkness?

  3. The product is junk – I’ve bought two sets of colors and neither stays on. Here’s a tip: dark brown/black/gray/purple (whatever effect you’re aiming for) eyeshadow around your eye, eyeliner on the inside bottom of the rim, above the lashline on the top. Smudge some shimmer on the inside corners (near your nose) to brighten your eyes. Mascara. Done. I’ve never understood how a smokey eye is considered complex.
