Make Dianna Agron’s Grammy Hairstyle Your Own
Yes, you can do this sexy updo at home.
Glee’s Dianna Agron looked very sophisticated on the red carpet at the Grammys last night. From the top of her rockabilly inspired ‘do to her shoes, she looked starpendous.
To create the look at home that celeb hairstylist Adir Abergel of Frederic Fekkai created for Dianna’s special night, follow these step by step directions.
Apply Fekkai Coiff hold volume mousse ($22, soap.com) to the roots of dry hair and Fekkai Advanced Silky Straight Ironless smooth finish serum ($23, nordstrom.com) at the ends. Hand blow the rest of your hair until it is completely dry. Then use a 1 ¼ curling iron to curl the hair. Then pin it place starting at the hairline and continue to the crown. Pull the back of the hair into a chignon at the crown of the head. Take out pin curls and backcomb the roots to create a pompadour effect.
To keep the backcombed hair in place, try Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold hairspray ($22, soap.com) at the roots. Then very lightly smooth the hair on top of your head (the pompadour) with a brush. To finish off the look, first use Fekkai Coiff Nonchalant Piecing and Forming wax ($24, fekkai.com) on a few pieces, then spray hairspray all over to lock the look into place.
