Marcia Gay Harden: “Sometimes I Don’t Even Like Acting”
Betty chats with Marcia Gay Harden at the Tisch Gala about becoming an actress and staring in her next film.
On Monday night, Betty joined some of Hollywood’s hottest stars at the 2010 The Face of Tisch Gala. The fundraising event honored Billy Crystal, the Tony and Emmy Award winning actor and Tisch School of the Arts graduate. Proceeds from the gala will go towards modernizing the original Tisch building where Billy used to watch his father perform live jazz concerts.
Inside Frederick P. Rose Hall, celebs flooded the red carpet. Actor Isaiah Johnson made an appearance, looking quite dapper in a black suit and messenger cap. Whoopi Goldberg posed for the cameras donning a pirate hat. And much to everyone’s delight, Robin Williams hammed it up with funny voices and imitations.
Also spotted was Marcia Gay Harden who stopped to chat with BettyConfidential. The Tisch alum was decked in a sleek and sexy embroidered suit. Her oversized teardrop earrings were to die for. She told Betty that she was mostly looking forward to the night’s entertainment—tons of dancing and singing.
