Maria Menounos’ New Book, The Everygirl’s Guide to Life, Out Today
The beautiful and successful TV host is now sharing all of her top beauty, fashion and lifestyle secrets and tricks in her new book.
TV personality Maria Menounos seems like the girl who has it all. I’ve followed her career for quite some time (we’re both Emerson College alumni), and sometimes I wonder how she juggles three hosting gigs on Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, and the Today show, while attending red carpet events and looking so great all the time.
Well, now the 32-year-old is sharing all of her secrets in her new book, The Everygirl’s Guide to Life, available today. The 275-page guide is a compilation of tips for every (and I mean every) aspect of life that Maria has learned from personal experience, as well as all the experts and celebrities she’s interviewed over the years. Topics include fashion, beauty, dating, organizing, fitness, money management and more.
The purpose of the book is to help women “achieve a more successful, prosperous, and healthy appearance and, most important, a more successul, prosperous, and healthy life,” writes Maria.
Here is just a taste of some of her top tips:
On being organized: “Think less not more when it comes to your stuff. It’s freeing to have breathing room where you live. The more stuff you have, the more you have to clean, to distract you, to maintain, and to move.”
On “doing it all”: “I follow a routine. Part of the routine is immediately putting clothes and items back where they belong… it also means selecting times and days to do the chores and tasks and then sticking to those times and days while maximizing every possible minute.”
On dressing stylishly: “Keep an inspiration board in your closet to remind yourself of great outfits you will try to put together.”
In addition to the book, Maria has over 40 videos featuring more of her great tips at www.bing.com/maria. The site also contains info on her book tour locations and dates — in case you want to meet the girl who does it all!
