Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Lopez + More in Oscar’s Big Trend: Pastels!
Not only do we show off celebs like Maria Menounosz and Cameron Diaz in pastels, we’ve got suggestions on how to add it to your closet!
Over the years we’ve seen iconic gowns flutter across the red carpet at the Oscars. Last night’s event showed off one of spring’s biggest trends: pastels. We saw everyone from Giuliana Rancic, Berenice Bejo and Melissa McCarthy in these soft, romantic shades.
We’ve rounded up their looks and added a few ideas on how you can incorporate the colors into your daily life.
Actress Kate Mara wore a beaded, glittery pale pink gown couture gown by Jack Guisso.
Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy wore a silk rose chiffon custom designed gown by Marina Rinaldi. She also sported Chopard jewels and Brian Atwood Wagner peep toe heels (seen up close in her skit with Billy Crystal) and carried a Brian Atwood custom minaudiere. Both the shoes and the bag were encrusted in Swarovski crystals, Talk about high-wattage power!
Before Penelope Ann Miller from The Artist star slipped on her beaded pale pink Badgley Mischka gown and Blue Nile jewels (see our giveaway!), she used the St. Tropez rose skin illuminator for a little added glow.
