Miley Cyrus Tweets Gay Marriage Tattoo!
Miley shows off her new equality ink.
When it comes to love, Miley Cyrus knows how to do the math. MTV reports Miley inked her ring finger with an equal sign showing her support for gay marriage, which she tweeted, along with the message, “All LOVE is equal.”
And because everyone enjoys a good Twitter war, fans questioned her beliefs, tweeting mixed feelings for the Disney star. But our girl stood strong!
However, when @MileyCyrusLuver came under fire from other fans, Miley tweeted everyone to “lay off” and that everyone was entitled to their own opinion.
This isn’t the first time Miley’s Twitter has been attacked. In a March 2010 interview with Parade Magazine, Miley says angry tweets from people who didn’t support her views on gay marriage were a reason she deleted her original account.
“There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I’ve said or done because I believe there are no mistakes because God is the only one who can judge us,” She told Parade. “That’s the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person.”
In 2009, after the whole Carrie Prejean / Miss USA / gay marriage broo-haha, Cyrus tweeted, “Jesus loves you and your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! That’s like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz he’s gay and that is wrong and very sad! Like I said everyone deserves to be happy. I am a Christian and I love you — gay or not. Because you are no different that anyone else! We are all God’s children!”
