Photo of the Day: Michelle Obama’s State Dinner Dress
Mrs. O dazzled in an Alexander McQueen creation at the State Dinner honoring Chinese President Hu Jintao.
Lady in red! The always fashionable First Lady, Michelle Obama, didn’t dissapoint at Wednesday night’s White House state dinner honoring the arrival of Chinese President, Hu Jintao.
Her red gown was designed by Sarah Burton, the creative director of Alexander McQueen.
Of course, the press is buzzing about Michelle’s dress (what dinner?). The Los Angeles Times‘ fashion blog, All the Rage, said, “If you thought the first lady’s fashion sense was mellowing out, think again. … The asymmetrical neckline is incredible, and the red color no doubt a nod to China.”
Tell us: What do you think about the First Lady’s state dinner dress?
